About us
Having gotten my formal training as an artist, I worked in the graphics field for most of my career. Because I grew up in Israel, I've always leaned towards creating Judaic art and since my husband and I moved to the beautiful coastal city of Savannah, GA, I've been creating ketubot (plural of ketuba, ketubah).
All our ketubot start out as original works of art. Inspiration comes almost on a daily basis and it can come from anywhere. I was looking through the daily newspaper one morning and a wonderful idea came to me. I walk through my garden on a regular basis and just viewing the current flowering plants can spark a new design. Once the idea has gelled, creating the actual art may take a month to develop and at other times the muse hits and its almost immediate. Either way, the artwork goes through a rigorous procedure before it becomes an official ketubah option on our site.
Ketuba text is next on the agenda after the art is complete. With the exception of public domain materials, the texts being used on our ketubot have been specifically created for our use.
A request for a simple Parchment Ketubah resulted in our parchment series. The original was a custom size to match an elaborate frame but the couple insisted they did not want any adornments surrounding the marriage vows. The result was a very elegant and simple design and it inspired a series of parchment ketubot.
I recently received a request for a custom ketubah from a couple whose wish list included a theme associated with royalty. Since the chatan and kallah (groom and bride) are compared to king and queen on their betrothal day, this was a request not to be denied. The result is our Custom Crown of Jewels Ketubah.
The
Jerusalem series ketubot started out
with a custom ketubah when our son got married.
We received so many inquiries about it that the
original design has been transformed and
incorporated into a series of
ketubot.

I am always working on adding new designs, and if you have a favorite subject and don't see it here, feel free to send me a note about it. Each one of our ketubah designs is a fresh mix of the old and the new. The end result is that our ketubah can hang in your living room with pride, along with your other cherished artwork.
Custom ketubot are available upon
request. We recently created a custom ketubah for a very unique couple.
